The website provides information about Indie Horizon Press, its publications and curated reading collections. Catalogue descriptions and research pathways are educational and bibliographic; they are not legal, financial, medical or professional advice.

2. Copyright and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, original website text, arrangement, design and publisher materials are protected by copyright. Readers may view, quote briefly with attribution, link to pages and make uses permitted by applicable law. Substantial reproduction, republication, commercial reuse, automated harvesting or creation of a competing database requires written permission.

3. Public-domain and open material

A work’s original text may be public domain while a modern translation, introduction, typesetting, photograph or digital edition remains protected. “Open access” does not always mean unrestricted use. The rights statement supplied by the repository or rights holder governs the linked item.

4. Catalogue inclusion

Inclusion of an author, book, paper, archive or institution is an editorial reference, not an endorsement, partnership or claim of ownership. Descriptions may summarise scholarly debate and may be revised as evidence develops.

5. External websites

External links are provided for reader convenience. Indie Horizon Press does not control their availability, accuracy, security, accessibility, privacy practices or later content. A link may be removed or replaced if it becomes misleading, unlawful or unsafe.

6. Accuracy and availability

Reasonable care is taken, but the website may contain errors, temporary interruptions or outdated links. Publication details, prices and availability can change. Readers should verify consequential information with the originating institution or bookseller.

7. Cultural and conflict material

Historical and sacred works are presented for serious reading and research. Some records concern violence, persecution, caste, race, colonialism, displacement or contested political claims. Dates, sources and viewpoints are identified where material. Display does not constitute approval of every idea contained in a source.

8. Rights concerns

A rights holder who believes material is incorrectly attributed, unlawfully reproduced or linked inappropriately may request review. The request should identify the exact material, relevant right, evidence of authority and proposed remedy. 9. Changes and governing arrangements

These terms may change as the website and publishing programme develop. Any contract for publication, licensing or sale is governed by its own written terms. Jurisdiction and business-identification details will be confirmed in the final legal review before launch.

Pre-launch notice: these terms are complete as an editorial draft but require final legal and business-detail review before the site is made public.

10. Accessibility

Indie Horizon Press aims to present catalogue and editorial information in a form that can be navigated, enlarged and read with common assistive technologies. Accessibility problems may be reported to editorial@indiehorizonpress.com with the page, device or format involved and the information sought. An accessible alternative will be considered where reasonably practicable and rights permit.

11. Automated access and data extraction

Ordinary search-engine indexing and lawful personal research are not prohibited by these terms. No permission is granted to reproduce substantial original editorial content, compile a competing catalogue, remove attribution, circumvent access controls, overload the service or represent machine-generated output as an authorised Indie Horizon Press edition. Any automated reuse remains subject to applicable law, source licences, repository terms and the rights of authors, translators, artists and cultural custodians.

12. Names, marks and attribution

Indie Horizon Press names, logos, trade dress and edition identifiers may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, approval or publication by the press without written authorisation. Accurate editorial citation and bibliographic reference are permitted. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
